I Swear It's True! was a one-off contest hosted by RAC Contests creator NeonProject in 2009. Artists were told to find an article online which inspired them to make a submission for the contest. The Contest was aired on Internet Radio Station Radiogrounds on the 18th of July at 6PM EST 2009.

Judges scored the songs in the following Categories: Representation of the news story; originality of the song; Musicality; Instrumentation and overall entertainment. Due to the results being so close NeonProject had to recruit even more judges than he had originally planned.

As well as the Judges Score, Contestants were asked to name their top 5 opposing acts, this also went towards the final outcome, which named Kaizerwolf the winner of the contest.

The contest suffered from severe dropouts, however managed to get 11 acts in the final week. One of the acts, Bobomatic, had even submitted two entries, being the first ever contestant in a NeonProject contest to have two entries in the same contest.
